More than three months before the event begins, the online entry facility for the Masters is now closed. We have 170 players entered, with four other places reserved, including two qualifying spots for Chess.com’s Titled Tuesday to be held on 6 June – see this article by Peter Doggers: https://www.chess.com/news/view/50-000-first-prize-at-chess-com-isle-of-man-tournament-3802
There are 28 players on the reserve list who have completed an entry form and are hoping for a place to become available in the Masters. In addition, there is a reserve list for conditions if players to whom I’ve offered conditions have to withdraw.
At the time of writing, there are 46 players entered for the Major and Minor. Brian Woodard, the Tournament Director for these sections, is likely to carry on accepting entries until the combined total reaches 70.
Thank you for your interest in our event.
